The baroque requiem by the French composer Jean Gilles has remained unknown in Finland but it is an important work and has been performed for example at the funerals of composer Jean-Philippe Rameau and King Louis XV. It is said to be one of the most beautiful requiems in the world.

In the concert programme, we will announce one of the concerts of the year of celebration 2017 – Reformation 500th Anniversary and centenary of Finland’s independence.
